Description

We present organic oregano hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the leaf blade of the plant of the species Origanum vulgare. It is known as Oregano organic hydrolate for perfumery. The Lamiaceae family encompasses the species, and the fields with plantations lie on arable Bulgarian land. The peltate glandular trichomes on the leaves harbor the volatile fraction and give the raw material a rich aromatic character and a great strength of the scent itself. The glandular cells lie beneath a common cuticle, and the secretion is released outward when it tears. The strength of the scent is at a high level. The spicy, herbal and bitter nuances build the aromatic type of the finished liquid. The tone of the distillate ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish. The hydrolate behaves as a liquid throughout its entire volume. Cultivation under the organic regime excludes foreign substances from the field, so the composition of the liquid is free of preservatives and added colorants. Steam extraction preserves the true character of the aromatic picture and keeps the scent within the bounds of the plant itself and its leaves. The phenolic monoterpenes of the species are led by carvacrol and thymol, while cymene and terpinene complement their overall composition in the finished distillate. The species maintains several chemotypes, and the acyclic one among them is based on linalool and linalyl acetate. In addition, the strength of the scent and the richness of the raw material go hand in hand, because the same volatile substances stand behind both aspects. It is precisely steam distillation that links the raw material to the pure scent. Storage

Store organic oregano hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
